A Commitment to Education, Preservation & Restoration
Periodontal
Services: Keeping It Controlled
Few people realize how difficult it really is to detect periodontal disease and how damaging it can be. In fact, conservative estimates state that
over 80% of the population is walking around entirely unaware that they
have a significant level of chronic gum disease. That's where we come
in. We're on a mission to help arrest and control gum disease, gently
and professionally making use of the latest available technology, methods
and materials.
Our periodontal services include:
- Comprehensive periodontal examinations
- Comprehensive treatment strategies
- Non-surgical mechanical methods: scaling & root planing
- Chemo-therapeutic methods: local and systemic antibiotic therapies
- Surgical methods: receptive & regenerative conditioning
- Oral Medicine: Biopsy Services
Prevention Services: Keeping It Clean
Another one of our missions is to help you prevent any further gum disease.
And to this end, we employ two basic strategies: first, we do everything
possible to restore a clean, healthy oral environment for you while you're
here. Second, we do everything possible to educate you on maintaining
that clean environment by your daily at-home hygiene efforts.
- Cleaning/Hygiene
- Regular Follow-Up Care
- Patient Education
- Nightguards
Implant Services: Keeping It Stable
An exciting and rewarding area of our work is that of helping people
who are missing one or more teeth by surgically providing tooth root substitutes
known as dental implants. For nearly 20 years, dentistry has been perfecting
our expertise in the many steps of this highly technical process, resulting
in increased quality of life and confidence for a tremendous number of
satisfied patients.
The implant process is a carefully coordinated effort between our team,
your restorative dentist, and you. It varies according to your age, physical
health, oral health status, and the number/location of teeth requiring
replacement. When extensive bone loss has occurred at the location of
the missing tooth, we also take care of 'site development', first building
up adequate bone into which the implant will bond.
If you're not familiar with the reliable, stable, and long-term solution
dental implants present to missing teeth, we'd like to help you learn
more.
- Site Development & Ridge Modification

Cosmetic Services: Keeping It Beautiful
Few people realize the extent to which their smile's appearance affects
their overall esteem and sense of well-being. In fact, few people are
aware of how today's advanced materials and techniques can improve various
aspects of their smiles. That's where our periodontal cosmetic procedures
come in: with just a few simple steps, we can help give you a smile that
you can use with confidence!
- Esthetic Crown Lengthening
- Soft Tissue Grafting
Technology:
Keeping It Current
We're all in favor of taking full advantage of technology's many advances
in the dental field, when improved patient care is a proven result. In
fact, when you visit our office you'll see many special 'tools' that help
us more accurately diagnose and treat various aspects of gum disease,
or which help us keep our patients comfortable during treatments.
But
one thing you'll not find is any form of 'high tech' that prevents the
'high touch' to which we're so committed. We offer cd players and headsets
to help you relax, but we don't have TV's in the treatment rooms because
our success at building a comfortable, trusting relationship with you
is dependant upon clear, personalized, ongoing communication
something
that's not possible when the TV is on.
